I swam a 1000 meter set today!  This was a big milestone for me as I've never actually swam that far without stopping before.  I really feel like this is going to help me get over some mental hurdles during my races.  Thanks Coach for putting this on the workout today!


  1. I remember back at the dawn of time qualifying for a scuba certificate and having to do 1/4 mile about 400 meters in 12:00 minutes. At the time it seemed barely possible. Now it doesn't count as a good workout. Overcoming fear of open water swimming though, that's a different problem.
